The 9180 Ex i series resistor isolators are designed for intrinsically safe operation of Pt100 (9180/.0) or Pt1000 (9180/.1) resistance temperature detectors. The resistance value measured at the input is transmitted to the output, allowing measurement via an I/O card. The auxiliary power supply, outputs, and intrinsically safe inputs are all electrically isolated.
This globally unique two-channel solution saves space, requiring only 8.8 mm² per channel.
Suitable for 2-, 3-, and 4-wire circuits.
Resistance range: 18 to 391 Ω or 180 to 3910 Ω.
Inputs, outputs, and power supply are electrically isolated.
